He gave up everything to make sure we all grew up good!!

SMSgt Mike Haggerty. He was like my Dad, Brother, teacher, best friend and war buddy all in one. He taught me just about all I know about my job and I miss him dearly. He and I went around the world together shooting for the Air Force and we had some crazxy adventures but along the way he taught me how to be a leader and a good NCO. I still use his lessons every day and pass them on to my troops. God rest his soul.

There is a guy in my village who is the coolest guy I have ever met...
He is about 70 and works really long days doing manual labour (very skilled I might add) as a builder: he is a millionaire in his own right, but believes in working all the time...
He also drinks in our local pub every night and knows everything about everything, he has stories that make your eyes pop out and wisdom on just about anything that always makes me think...
I hope I get old like that...with mind and body as sharp as they are today

My cousin Tonya, she's been through hell in a hand basket and she always looks on the bright side of life and learns from her mistakes. She's been a single mother of two kids since she was 18 and she refuses to let them grow up and make the same mistakes she did, she's tought them to respect everyone.

My 2 boys(15 & 7) they are the most compassionate, funny, and true people I have ever had in my life. They have taught me more then I think I will ever be able to teach them!

i dont have a hero that i personally know,becuz i wouldnt consider
my mom or my evil step dad a hero to me....becuz im my own hero, becuz no one knows me best then me!!!^-^

i went to a summercamp and i met a person who had a bad disease and he was a volunteer, al his life he had taken care of poor children, he was about 35 years old and he was gonna die soon, his disease was caused by stress. and i admire him for being so brave
