Honey, the "documentaries" are commercials, ignore them. And I agree the new is nothing but evil.
So this is what you do, turn off the TV, hide the remote. Then pick up a book or newspaper. ON second thought the newspaper is fill of evil stories and advertisements.
Stick with the books, but make sure it has pictures, or those cool fuzzy things on the pages that go along with the story!!

I agree extremely with analyzing point. I do think of it exists in a fashion. some books are greater frustrating than others, no rely if it relatively is a few thing like vocabulary or comprehension. And sticking to a e book it is around your man or woman point would be greater relaxing via fact it is going to likely be simpler to comprehend, yet once you continuously study books seen at your analyzing point, i do no longer comprehend the way you ever anticipate to improve. As a toddler, I in no way hectic if some thing became at my analyzing point. I consistently jumped at a wager to study some thing which would be greater improved for my grade point. I actually do no longer think of it relatively is a difficulty, and that i actually do no longer comprehend why all of us would get hung up on some thing like that. Age appropriateness i think of relies upon on the youngster. For surely toddlers, say a while 6-10, i think of sure, there is incredibly an age appropriateness. i does no longer decide for a six 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old analyzing a similar textile as a teenager, that basically does not make experience. yet I completely think of that by utilising secondary college age, there relatively is not any age appropriateness anymore. by utilising then, they could have maximum issues found out, and that they could have the skill to tell for themselves in the event that they think of a e book could have content textile that makes them uncomfortable or no longer. So for the toddlers on Y!A asking if some thing is suitable, then I consider you, it relatively is bizarre them asking. actually by utilising that age, they could comprehend adequate the place a e book should not be traumatizing. And with all the media, i can not think of that a e book could probable be worse than maximum video clips. i does no longer comprehend that. curiously i became no longer a common youngster. via fact if my mothers and dads ever deemed something "wrong" (which they in no way did or would) i'd have accompanied the regulations, and specific agreed with them. besides the undeniable fact that it does look a splash abnormal i assume, that toddlers are with out observe in touch approximately analyzing some thing they think of possibly they could no longer.

Commertials are going to always say that their product is the best and that you shouldn't live without it, they need consumers that will spend a % of their money on that product... so all you're gonna hear is -its the best- -you cant live without it- -it sucks when you dont have it- but thats all lies, material possesions shouldn't be a priority in your life, if it is, then you have a very serious self esteem problem going on, you should go out more, and not worry whats in the media so much... You are the most important thing in YOUR life. Remember that always.

Stop watching tv?
Personally, I wear tinfoil underwear. That protects me from the dangers of uv rays, radio waves, cancer, viruses, mosquito's, Internet stalkers, home invaders, and deadly hurricanes, gingivitis, and dandruff.
Yeah, it'll chafe at first but eventually you'll get use to it.

Close the tv and read a book, take a walk and hell with all that negative! Commercials are brainwashing instruments. News reflect what's happening in the world today, but you don't have to watch it over and over !... Keep up with this group, it's much more interesting.

Buy a TIVO and skip the commercials. Also stuff like Prozac can help too. You may want to consult a Health Care Professional first or visit your local Scientology center if you dont believe in mind altering drugs. Hey, you might even see Tom Cruise there.

It's very simple. You just pull the plug on the TV set. You can live without TV. Rent movies instead. No idiotic commercials, and no retardation in the news casts, and you don't get people telling you what to do and what not to do. I don't watch any TV. I got so sick and tired of the cable company and the media companies that I called them up and told them to shove it up their asses.

That's an interesting outlook. I (usually) automatically tune out commercials. You can train yourself to do that, you know. A lot of times I will read a book or work on a Sudoku or crossword puzzle during commercial breaks. I deplore most advertisements.
