Depends on your specialty. One thing to keep in mind....you want to select a course of study that is not readily available in your area. For example... many people are turning to massage therapist for deep tissue work. The medical community is now referring patients for alternative pain management. Depends on where you go...most places I have heard of are less then 18 months

and 50 hours of on hands work
then the big exam by your state
