"It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:24).
if this is true... then why does the conservative lobby push so much for the wealthy (tax cuts, grants to wealthy corperations), when they claim to be the party of morals/Christianity?
And I mean the very foundations of capitalism is to promote the sin of greed and use greed to drive the economy... is this a moral way to drive the economy?

turboweegie: conservatives brought religion into the policitcal forum... you can't kick it out at your leisure..
it's a nice attempt at renaming greed, but I'm not buying it... and oh Bush is the poorest of the extremely wealthy... well, he should get a medal or something...

Good question. Your assumption is good, also. I agree with it.

Get your theocratic judgements out of our state! Separation of church and state!
Actually, your 'casting of first stones' judgementalism of capitalism is false. It is not based on the 'sin of greed', but on the concept that individual self-interest will create widespread prosperity. That is because the self-interest of an individual will drive him to make money. How does he do that? By providing a better service or ware at lower cost than someone else. Or by providing a new product or service. Or by finding a more efficient use of raw material resources. All these lead to more efficiency and more goods and services for less cost. This is a good thing.
Tax cuts - everybody got them, at least at the same rate as the wealthy (that you seem to hate so much). But 1% of 1,000,000 is more than 1% of 10,000, so only to a biased and envious eye would it seem to be more. And how this obvious fairness allegedly betrays Christian morals is laughable.
As for the rich - did you know that Bush was the least wealthy of the 4 Dem / Rep president / vice president candidates in 2004?

I think being pious is as big a sin as being greedy. Most people who want to tell everyone how to live could not live up to the standards they set for others.
Capitalism works under the premise that there is greed and immorality in the world and capitalism is able to adapt to those factors. Communism fails because it is Utopian in its design and once corrupted, it is doomed to fail. There is no margin for error in Communism as there is in Capitalism.

i imagine the project my brother. it is laziness, and also the media that effect each day more effective human beings to the international of sin. it is incredible the way it occurs, i grow to be shocked to discover many years atraz aou the decline of Christianity in the USA. yet i imagine in truth that the USA has no more effective enemy (like Catholicism, Animism, Buddhism, Hinduism or Islam). In African international places, Latin human beings and Asians continually have yet another style of perception more effective, and this provides solidarity to Christians right here. We see hence desire no longer be in uncomplicated words nominal, and by no skill in separmos by technique of denominations. yet human beings opt to work out their enemies drawing close. Islam grows round, and think ofyou've got to work out it quicker. in the period in-between our missionaries die, yet no longer deny Jesus. And what are we doing? Many are more effective in touch thrive in curaar up, yet do no longer care about billions of souls who die each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days without Jesus! we'd want to continually all be missionaries everywhere we bypass. yet that's to be finished: "on the end of time, many will fall faraway from the religion" and "the affection of many shall wax chilly." that does no longer happen in the USA what's happening in the Netherlands and Germany. might want to the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you!

Sorry to bother you here, but you got my point....it is all crap...the deaths are true, and the way they died is true, and when they died is true.....after that, any notion of who or what killed them is only speculation...I doubt he had anything to do with it...but time will tell...just as with all the Bush conspiracies
