Well, based on things my 27 year old husband would enjoy:
Bowling Party
Baseball Game (sometimes you can rent the Berm from a minor-league team and have a BBQ bash out there during the game)
Keg Party
Things I would like:
PD Penguin's Party
Cocktail Party with jazz music and wine
And why is everyone saying sex? Isn't sex on a birthday just a given? Why should that be the entire festivity???

make him a home made card like a kid would make with color crayons on line paper or round up some loose old photos that mean a lot to the two of you and take some time arranging and putting them into a nice album with room to spare(room to grow, lol). You Can add stickers and other scrap booking enhance -ments to personalize it. Or do what my grandma had i and my brother do for my mom on mothers day . . . take some crayons and construction paper (it can even be scraps) and make coupons ("good for a hug, no expiration date" or "good for a personal car wash- - -which u could do ur self") Don't now if these ideas will fly, but at least hope they were worth the read!

Cook a nice dinner, and have candles all around the room. After dinner, don't worry about the dishes (you'll do them in the morning), go into your room and slip into a nice negligee call your hubby into the room, and surprise him with a kiss. And the rest of the night should go smoothly from there.......Have Fun!!!

Depending on where you live, you could do a hot air balloon ride followed by a tour of the local winery where you would proceed to buy a few bottles for later in the evening. Then you could cook him his fav and have the wine then sex.

If possible take him some where that he's been wanting to go but haven't had the chance. Or spice up the night, just try doing something out of the ordinary.

have him meet you at a local hotel in the middle of the day and wear a wig and a sexy maid's uniform...then serve him wine, cheese, strawberries...finally let him eat cake.
