Depends. For indigestion, try mint or ginger (ginger is also good for nausea.) But be careful if you have acid reflux--they can both aggravate that condition. I'm not sure what to take for that. When my acid reflux is really bothering me, I crave oatmeal (which is weird because it has that snot texture and I think it's gross) and it seems to soak up the acid or something. It helps a lot. But acid reflux usually differs between sufferers--everybody has to find a specific remedy.

For flatulence or bloating, try fennel seeds or a tea made from fennel seeds.

For constipation, try fiber--psyllium and bran and lots of veggies.

For diarrhea, probably marsh mallow or something mucilaginous. Or is that for constipation? I can't remember. But fiber also helps diarrhea, since it soaks up extra water that your intestines don't remove and put back in your blood. That's why fiber makes you "regular"--it regulates intestinal functioning, both too fast and too slow.

JustMe is right that multivitamins don't address any specific concerns, they just cover the basics for general nutrition. The others made some good points about Ginger and Peppermint Oil calming the stomach, but they don't help digest food. Pineapple and Papaya do have naturally occurring enzymes that help digest most food a bit, so that was spot-on. In addition, you can take Pancreatin (which has Lipase, Amylase, and Protease naturally occurring in it), Papain, Bromelain (those three help digest general foods), Diastase, Lactase (which helps digest dairy), and/or a few other food-specific enzymes. Most people would prefer to take a complex with some combination of these enzymes and/or HCl (Hydrochloric Acid, commonly as Betaine HCl) to help with digestion. All of those options help to digest food in the stomach, plus, you could also take Probiotics to help absorb the nutrients in your intestinal tract. I haven't heard of Philips Colon Health specifically before, but most all colon health products like that will be primarily fiber and a few herbs. Fibers (whether from supplements or fruits/veggies/grains) basically just bulk up in your intestines and push things out... they don't help actually digest food. I hope I helped!

The People's Pharmacy speaks of ginger being good for digestion. In fact, my mom brought home some crystalized ginger the other day for exactly that reason.

You can take oatstraw in capsules if you dont like oatmeal. Also if you're making oatmeal with milk the milk might be helping. Also my favorite thing for this is lots of fresh fruit especially melons.
