i never heard of amp'd, but verizon is ok but a little expensive but they have really good customer service. I have never had sprint, but cingular is the worst ever! they have the worst customer service department and their billing department is made up of complete idiots

Verizon has probably the best reception. t-mobile and cingular both use the same network technology so not much comparison there. Cingular and t-mobile have the latest and coolest phones that are usually free with service. Stay away from sprint! Amp'd is prepaid so it's totally different from the other big guys. Whoever you choose, make sure u check out this site: http://www.selectivemobile.com/Default.asp?aid=yh&ref=bestcarrier They got the best deals on cell phones for any of those carriers.

First ,It depends on where you live,I live In Conneticut and I also live on the shore line and I find Verizion the best.
I do not like the service we get In Conneticut from Cingular,my wife to be had Cingular and IN Conneticut the service Is terrible I mean really terrible ,they are rude slow and expensive, they seem to charge for evrything as Verizon does not and Verizion Is customer oriented.

I had a pre paid Tmobile phone for my job and It was also great and the Tmobile worked In areas that neither Verizon and Cingulae did not work that was why I had a Tmobile phone as a back up.

I would never ever get or have anything to do with Cingular Ihope this helps you good luck
