If Vancouver is rated the 3rd best sity to live in, then go and live there. Some Americans are ignorant about a lot of things, you just have to look at the state of the world to know that. As an englishman living in Scotland, I would say that most Canadians sound like most Americans unfortunately. You are not supposed to know when terrorists are going to attack. This is to cause as much death as possible. I believe that most westerners are targets of terrorists, they do not discriminate. I would not suggest anyone to live in America or even visit the place.

I am Canadian but I don't think my country is better then yours.
We do have a better health care system, but then again you have a much better army. Each country has it's good points and bad points.
I agree Americans are ignorant when it comes to Canada but that could be rectified if your government initiated Canadian lessons into your curriculum. Believe it or not, Canadians know much more about America then you would think.
My husband is an American and until he met me, he assumed all of Canada was covered in ice and snow. Imagine his surprise to find out we have the same 4 seasons as y'all do. LOL
Iridescence - We don't speak french all the time. You will only encounter that in Quebec. The majority of the country speaks English.

So what's your question? You want to move to Vancouver? It is a great city. I've been there a lot. Ignorant towards Canada in what way?

Personally, I don't think Canada is better than the US, nor do I think the US is better than Canada (and yes, I'm an American). Some of my family are Canadians, and they're great people. I've never been to Vancover, but Victoria, just south of said city, is a beautiful place - I'd live there in a heartbeat (also interesting that Victoria is the only place in Canada with palm trees...).

Every country has it's +'s and -'s. I have no problem with Canada, I think it's a beautiful country. Although, if I moved there I think I'd move more to the western part of it - I don't know if I could hang with them speaking French all the time =P

Okay you lost me on that one??
Does Canada know when terriorists are going to attack?
If they do they should tell us?
They are a extension of the British Empire and last time I looked they are our allies. They work very hard on border crossing to catch terriorists. And they have done a great job.
They have caught several cars full of terriorists.
Being ever villigant is all they can do. We appreciate all their effort. which we have said numerous times.
So what is your problem?

Who said Canada was better than the USA, I didn't!!!!!!! United States is the best country in the world and if you don't like, leave it, oh but wait all those people skipping across the borders trying to get in are finding something about the USA appealing.
