Anyone ever used Xoom to send money?

I have never heard of Xoom before. Anyone ever used the service?
Is it reliable?

Never used it. heard of it ONCE so I wouldnt use anything I havent heard about before.

I receive remittance money every time from Xoom. They offer cheaper rates compared to Western Union. You can pay via your Paypal account, credit card or eCheck. Payment by Paypal and credit card reach the receiver in just a few hours while eCheck typically takes about a week, although it has the cheapest rate among the three payment options. I have used it twice, both times to direct deposit into an account at Equitable/PCI bank. Used Paypal to pay Xoom. Found it to be cheap , reasonably fast and reliable.

I've used it a number of times and love it.

The most affordable way of sending money is by debiting your checking account. They allow you to send up to US$1000 per transaction for a US$8 fee. Takes up to a week to process. There are faster ways, and they'll take your credit/debit card for payment.

I like being able to deposit directly to anyone's peso account, but you can also have them pick it up at any Equitable BPI branch or Cebuana Lhullier shop.

While I like Western Union's immediacy, paying $75 for a $1000 xaction is not necessary for me except in an emergency, and there are probably more affordable ways to xfer large sums of money (e.g., bank wire).
