GR is one of the lamest characters ever. Can you say "1970s"? He's like leisure suits and pet rocks rolled up into one.
What's that? You say he plays KISS while riding his chopper?
GR is a kitsch character that has no charm, no class and no intrigue. He's popular among 14 yo boys who don't play sports.
Supes OTOH represents ideals. He's part of the mythos of our culture, he's a vital icon to the 20th C. He stems from and continues the classic stories of humanity. He represnts man's desire to succeed, overcome evil, and fit into his world.
Superman is not my favorite hero by far, but this isn't even a sensible debate. (See "Air Jordans" vs "Chuck Taylors")

Yeah, Ghost Rider, much like the Brady Bunch, was specific for it's time.
Very outdated now.

ghost rider simply for the fact his motorcycle is too cool. and if he needs more customizing done to his bike he could just take it to orange county choppers and team up with paul sr. to whip superman's rear end.
