I would not be angry, but I would surely make a mental note and talk with them about the birds and bees if I had not already done so. Sometimes kids don't have that close relationship with their parents and they don't feel comfortable asking personal questions. It is up to the parents to help them feel comfortable about themselves and talking to them about personal things.

You didn't state the age of the child but regardless of age or gender, some people may regard any kind of sexual activity by a child to be "dirty". Sex is still a taboo subject in some families believe it or not and they refuse to consider that a child indulging in a little "light relief" as anything other than being immoral.
I don't consider that a younger child would be masturbating as such but more like he/she may be exploring. However if an older child, who may have an understanding of sexuality, is engaging in this activity, I would not not be angry but I would encourage him/her to indulge in the activity in the privacy of a bedroom and not where others may witness.
It is a natural part of our development that these activities take place so just tell him/her to take it to the privacy and comfort of the bedroom. If you catch him/her doing it again, be discrete, close the door and let him/her get on with it.

Nope. I don't want to give them a complex about their body or self pleasuring. I would teach them that there is a time and place for things. And that is a private thing to be done in private. I would also be knocking on their door instead of barging in. If they are old enough to masterbate, they are old enough to have privacy!

I don't think so because kids are just discovering their body. when my son discovers it I will have my husband talk to him because he is a man. if I have a girl (cuz im preggy) then i will just talk to her if she does. I know i did it and if my husband doesn't put out i still will. It is normal.
kids probablly think they are a freak anyways because of all the hormones. So if you yell they will feel even worse. It could be very damageing to their future sex life. Be sensitive and understandin g. We are all human.

probably not. It's something that some people do. If you haven't had the birds and bees talk, nows a good time.
Try not to embarass them as they're probably already embarassed enough.

NO!!!! That would prove to them that what they are doing is bad and they should be ashamed. Why should they think that? It is completely normal and as long as they are doing it in the privacy of their bedroom or bathroom, then I will let them go at it. I think it is completely wrong to make kids ashamed of their bodies and the normal feelings they have.

nope, At least then I know they aren't having sex with anyone (at least at that moment) I would probably be embarrassed and apologize. And depending on their age i would talk to them about it and tell them that its a natural thing and inform them that there are appropriate times to do it and not to.
