If you are getting the files from someone else, you always run a risk of getting a virus, whether the other user knows it or not.

No solution but to have a good antivirus...do a virus check of the files before installing or running anything.

Don't use AVG, recent tests showed its the worst antivirus. Prefer Anitivir or Avast, both are free and far better.

Good luck

unfortunately there is malware in all p2p communities. just pay attention to what you are getting. use the bitzi checks to check the hashes, and if there is a file that should be large that is like 200k, dont get it. oh and use a good virus protection software, like AVG Free whenever you download something. or just keep it legal.
