I don't mean a game that you buy on CD then play online. I mean like Yahoo! Games where you enter a room then choose an opponent.

I don't need a server so don't advertise these. I'll be hosting on my own computer which I will build to handle large volumes of traffic if it ever needs it.

u need to have some programs like c++ or some other and u need to known the programing language or what u need to write that that thing would hapen then all of this things combined then u can have maybe a game but still it's dificult to learn on you're own so buy a book about programing then maybe u will learn how to create something like an internet game................

you can either use coding and hand program it like the guy above said however if you are not to up to date on that kinda thing thre is a piece of kit called realmcrafter ( www.realmcrafter.com ) if you are interested in making an MMORPG ( massivley multiplayer online role playing game) like runescape cept you can do it better and exactly to your taste use kit like 3ds max to create the characters unless your meaning like chess games or thos connect 4 style games then you can just use macromedia flash look for it in your local software shops it is VERY useful
