Mini skirt, cute top, flats. A little bit of makeup to highlight your eyes or other features, and hair pulled back or up in a ponytail. Idk, that's just an idea. What's really fun is to get a friend over, lay out all your clothes, and then model different ones until you find the perfect outfit. Then, it's on to her house!

A cute pair of jeans, a smart t-shirt (no belly shirts you don't want to be thought of as easy) and tennis shoes. Wear your hair how you normally do (probably in a ponytail or down) so you don't feel self concious about it. If you haven't worn make up before now isn't really the time to start but if you want to use a little bit of lip gloss that would look good. (add the other stuff as you get older and be gradual about it)
Be cool hold your head up high and be confident. Confidence is the best thing you can wear into 7th grade it can really affect how people treat you. Most of all do what you really enjoy and like.

For my first day of school this year, I wore jeans and a brown tank top with a brown lace shirt over it. So maybe you should do kinda like me and just wear jeans and a nice shirt. But be yourself and have fun in 7th grade.
