They both wrote an article about the same case, but Foreman's got approved before Cameron's did, even though she had given hers to House first. Basically it was just a matter of House not paying attention when she gave him her article and just happening to sign Foreman's without reading it.
When Foreman said that they were colleagues and not friends(watch episode #218 - Sleeping Dogs Lie), that surprised me, because up until that point, I thought they'd been pretty friendly colleagues, in the first season they met for drinks after work quite a bit. Anyway, yeah, he pissed her off.

They both wrote an article about the same case. She turned it in for House to review and he let it sit there for four months. He signed off on Foreman's without reading it. So she feels like he stole it. Foreman's reasoning was that they were only colleagues and not friends so really, it didn't matter to him. And he only apologized because he was dying.

Well, I had been getting the impression that Cameron had a crush on Foreman--although my husband disagrees. We watch it together, and he said he did not pick up on that. Anyway, Cameron definitely thought she and Foreman were good friends. He did steal her article idea. As a professional myself, this would mean war if a "friend" did that to me! When Cameron confronted him, he was extremely cold, as you mentioned in your question. Later, Foreman got sick, in a life-threatening way, from a patiend who of course had an unknown disease. So, that a$$hole Foreman purposefully infected Cameron so that she would have more incentive to discover the cure. Jerk. When he was on the brink of death, he apologized, but she did not accept. hope that helps. i love that show

Cameron was upset because Foreman knew that she was writing the article and then decided to write his own. As friends and collegues, he shouldn't have done that. Her view is that he had several interesting cases to choose from, why chose the one he knew she was in the proccess of writing?

He didn't really steal her article, he did his own with some of the same info that she had. She was upset because it was something she was doing first on whatever subject they did the paper on. She just felt like his paper should have been on another subject. When sh confronted him he told her they were colleagues not freinds. Then he got really sick during 2 episodes and they kind of made up. It doesn't seem like a complete makeup. More next season.
