Because season 7 doesn't start until September 26th, that is after The WB closes shop and The CW begins.
In the meantime, the network airs the most recent season's episodes during the summer in between seasons.

THE NEW SERIES HASN'T STARTED YET. FOR EXAMPLE SMALLVILLE AND OTH HAVEN'T STARTED THEIR NEW SERIES. ALL THE SHOWS ARE DOING RERUNS. MOST SHOWS START THEIR NEW SEASONS IN SEPTEMBER.
