I was just curious if anyone has gotten pregnant while on orthotricyclen-lo Its what i take and I take it everyday at the same time and never miss a pill. I wanted to know if anyone has gotten pregnant when taking it correctly or if they accidentally missed a pill and got pregnant. Any information would be appriciated

That happens with any type of birth control pill. That's why they are not 100%. When you miss any pill, you can get pregnant. The difference with using a lower hormone pill like the ones you are on is that your window to take your pill regularly is smaller. You need to take it within 2 hours or so the same time everyday and still be protected because the hormones are less. Whereas with higher hormones cover you for a longer time so you can take it within more hours and still be protected.

1st preg. I was on orthotricyclen and took it regularly and no I didn't take any medicines to alter the pill.
2nd preg. pull out method - didn't work
3rd preg. based on the average woman ovulating 14 days after the 1st day of her period - I ovulate 19-20 days after but didn't know so got preg. by miscalculating
now with my 4th we were using condoms!!!
Nothing is 100% unless you don't have sex at all - for me and my husband thats not an option so the tubes will be tied after this one.

I did I just got on the pill and they didnt tell me that I needed another form of birth control for the first month of starting the pill.

My son is a bc baby. I took my pill everyday same time & everything, but I took antibiotics for a month & my gyn failed to mention that it lowers the effectiveness of bc & I had no idea. So yeah the ortho-low didn't work for me LOL

yes!! I did!!! the very same stuff too!! I was on it for months...I missed only 1 pill and took it as soon as I could!! I was pregnant...now shes gonna be 15 mths old soon. needless to say I changed birthcontrol...I'm on the Depo shot now. be careful!!

I took it for 3 years and never got pregnant. Now I'm not taking anything and we use the pullout method and still haven't got pregnant! I must be in luck!

my sister got pregnant on the pill, i got pregnant on the shot, nothing is 100%
