Friends have seen this person too and have accused me of ignoring them. One last time people, it wasn't me, I wasn't there.

No, the possibilities of DNA schuffling to form a babies DNA that unless the twins are from the same mother, you will not look 100% alike as anyone, even between twins.

Also, according to that question, with 6 billion people in the world, 3 billion people have 1 person that looks like them in the other 3 billion.

If you're saying look-alikes, then yea but chances of 100% are slim slim.

I work in the cosmetology industry, and I had another professional approach me once and tell me that he saw me at hair shows in Chicago and Las Vegas. I told him that I've been to Chicago, but never left the train station and that I have never been west of Colorado (which is where I live). He told me he could of swore that I was that person. So, not only do I have a twin, we apprently both work in the same industry.

Everyone is supposed to have a doppelganger.

A doppelgänger is the ghostly double of a living person. The term has, in the vernacular, come to refer to any double or look-alike of a person, most commonly in reference to a so-called evil twin, or to bilocation. Alternatively, the word is used to describe a phenomenon where you catch your own image out of the corner of your eye. In some mythologies, seeing one's own doppelgänger is an omen of death. A doppelgänger seen by friends or relatives of a person may sometimes bring bad luck, or indicate an approaching illness or health problem.

It's likely with the huge population of the world that either in the past or present there's someone with either identical DNA or just someone who looks like you, but its not a fact. I know when I was 6 I saw a girl who looked exactly like me, even though the hair was different. Of course, it was on the news, so you never know.

Possible, not impossible.

I met one of my twins at a skating rink in upstate NY in 1975. The other is the actress Meryl Streep. Of course neither of these women had the same personality that I do. But we look alike.

yes! This is a true story, I'm not kidding

when I was young and my familly was on vacation we met this woman whose son was killed in an accident a few years before - she showed us a picture and he looked exactly like me! He could have been my twin!! It was so wierd it still gives me chills almost 20 years later. The woman was of course a bit shaken since when she saw me she thought "that's my son!!!"

A friend of mine looks exactly like me, although she's since cut her hair shorter and died it to have a bit of a contrast. It's nice, when we were younger we referred to ourselves as 'twins' and had quite a few people believe us, even though our last names differ.
