Halloween the first and the second! The second one made me want to have my kids here at home just so I wouldn't have to stay in a hospital. What is really stupid about that is the mask Michael Myers wears is a William Shatner mask with the eyes cut bigger. The music is creepy too. Maybe it is just the fact that my parents took me to the theater when the first one came out and I was just a wee tot then.

The Exorcist
Director William Friedkin had the formidable task of translating William Peter Blatty's novel to the screen, and succeeded with flying colors - mostly a sickening green. The film maintains its suspense without getting campy and with its judicious use of startling special effects. The recent re-release with restored footage and enhanced effects make it even better. This is arguably the most frightening film of all time, due in no small part to the claim that it was based on true events. Creepiest scene: Walking down the upstairs hallway toward the bedroom where the demon waits.

Seriously I love horror movies so that's sort of hard to decide upon. The most gory movie ever has to be "House of a thousand corpses" I just can't see it enough. But, in the realm of actual fear I once saw a movie called "Session 9" or "The ninth Session" or something like that and it actually kept ME awake the night. I love horror and am not easily scared so that says quite a bit for that one. Best wishes

Prophecy, the one made back in 1979. When I was younger my family did a lot of camping, but then my father took us to see this movie. For a long time camping was out of the question, you never know when you are young something like company's putting mercury in the lakes or the rivers just may mutate the animals on this earth. Hey it was a scary one for me when I was young, but I go camping all the time now.

"Alien." Ridley Scott combined realistic Science Fiction,
Horror, Thriller, Action, and Psychological dramas, and handled them all expertly. There is one scene where I have seen people sprint out of a movie theater, the only time that I have ever seen that, they were terrified!! Even "The Exorcist" takes a back seat!

I haven't seen a scary movie for years! I mean I've watched them, they just don't have the scare factor for me anymore... The last movie to scare me to death was An American Werewolf in London... The only reason it scared the living daylights out of me at the time was because I was a youngster!
