Me & a friend went 2 new york. her uncle paid 4 the food and hotel. everything was cool, until she & her nephew got dropped off 2 go 2 manhattan. he went 2 a gay bar and left her. she claimed she called me & her uncle, but we didn't get a call. ever since then she has been acting funny.i had 2 call her 1st after we got home from our trip. we talked since we've been back, but it's not the same.i've been hurt by a friend before so i'm actin hard as if i don't want 2 call her. she said she would call back and never did.i feel as she has an attitude.(in which she always has) and i refuse 2 call her. i don't think she valued our friendship 2 let something this petty come between us. i guess i'll just move on. i just don't want her 2 think i'm pressed. u lose em, u gain em. i really thought i had a real friend but i guess i don't. even her conversations wit her uncle's brief. it hurts a little, but i'm used 2 getting hurt by so-called friends. what would u do? even our son's played 2gether.

If she is a true friend she will tell you the problem. It could be she thinks you and the uncle were fooling around and that is why you did not answer the phone. I would also talk to the uncle and see what he thinks. If you walk away from people that easy then your not much of a friend either. The ones who hurt us the most are the ones we lo ve the most.

ever thought that maybe she thinks oyu and her uncle did something she would disapprove of? i dont mean to come off rude but that was one of the first things i thought of when i read that. i think if you really want to be friends you should just come out and ask her why she is acting differently.

As you said, "you lose them, you gain them." Forget about her cause if she is mad about that they she is not a real friend in the first place.

Maybe she has a past in Nyc... Leaf it alone... take her out and go have fun... You are just a *** if you do not call her... call her and say thanks for the break.... But take her out, you pay...
