my mom said she has a misscarraige thread. she says its 50/50 the baby will survive. nad that will try to save it. what is a misscaraige thread and can the baby really survive and be healthy? my mom is 36

Did she mean "THREAT" or "Thread"? True, at early stages you can't tell if the baby will survive, because many things can go wrong during the 1st trimester.

Ask your mom since she is the one who told you this information. If she is concerned she needs to talk to her OB doctor.
