My mom uses ERA. It works really well and smells good. And it's great for sensitive skin.

I use a homemade laundry soap that works better than anything with my well water and is a whole lot cheaper and hypoalergetic ...everyone I have shared it with loves it with the exception of those that have to have strong scents.

Use Downy or All these are two good expensive detergents

I've used nothing but Tide for over 4 decades, and I think it is still the best stuff around today.
