I cut the lawn. Your husband is a lucky man.
My wife wouldn't recognize a lawn mower, couldn't get it started and if she did the only thing she might cut down is a 200 year old Oak tree.
Oh yeah, your husband is a very very lucky man....

I (female) use to mow my lawn until I hurt my back. The only reason I mowed the lawn was because I enjoyed it ( I love yard work vs house work any day) I would say if you enjoy it.....do it. If you don't and you as well as your other half work outside the home....well that's between the two of you, but I would say why can't he do it? Unless, he travels, or if he is handicapped in some way that he can't mow. I totally believe in sharing responsibilities around the home front!

we hired a yard man because my husband has bad allergies and mowing the yard seemed to make them act up more. So find a good yard man and he will not only mow the lawn but trim the bushes and weed the garden at least that is what mine does for $110 a month. He comes weekly

I (the husband) mow the yard. My wife has severe alergies and so manages to get out of most of the outside work on the house (I think she plays it up a little).
I am trying to get my daughter to do it, partially because I don't want to and partially because I think it will do her good to have more regular chores around the house.

I mow my own yard, but thats only becaus eI refuse to allow anyone else to do it. Its the same thing with who takes care of my yard, I DO, dammit. I'me very intimate with my yard, and even though I have a 70" Sony inside, I'd much rather spend my time in my hammock, watching the clouds go by than watching TV. Oh but my kids do the weed work though. LOL.......

I(the husband) mow my yard weekly with a push mower. My wife usually cleans the interior of the house while I do that so it works out even. She is too pretty and delicate to be working out in the heat. I would never let her do that.

We both share the chore. Unfortunately the grass doesn't wait for when someone's schedule is convenient. My husband and I share most duties and have decided it is futile to argue over gender related chores. He can make a bed and wash dishes just as well as I can. I can mow the lawn just as well as he can. It more depends on what needs doing.

It changes over time. Lots of times the man feels he has no time as a working man to do it so either his wife or kids mow. Then he retires and he takes over. Other times he retires but his wife now takes over from the kids who are out of the house. It depends, friend.

I use my tractor to mow 2 acres on my property. Also use push mower for the dog yard and trim work. Then the weedwhacker for the close trim work. Luckily, I love doing yard work.
