This doesn't sound correct to me, can you help me rewrite it:(by the way, there should be a "work help" category on Yahoo :)

I would sort of reverse it:

In months where a company holiday occurs, public safety employees will receive their holiday time at the beginning of that month.

In the event of company holiday months, Public Safety Employees will be receiveing holiday time in the beginning of those months. Hope that helps..... blessed be..

Public safety employees receive holiday time at the beginning of a month, if there is a company holiday during that month.

Just add the comma after "month" and before "if". It separates the 2 clauses. Makes the distinction for an IF statement.

Sounds fine to me, but perhaps you'll like this wording better... If there is a company holiday during a given month the public safety employees will recieve holiday time at the beginning of that month.

In the event, a company holiday occurs during a particular month, public safety employees will receive holiday time at the beginning of the month.
