I have a 2002 Alero and it is GREAT I love it.

Thanks for letting me know I have an 03 Alero and I didn't even know that. I always thought they were good running cars!

General Motors discontinued the Oldsmobile line due to poor sales. Great as Oldsmobiles may be, the general public just didn't appreciate them.
I personally think they needed to revamp the line and bring back muscle cars like the Cutlass and 442.

Oldsmobile manufacturing closed sometime by 2004. There will not be any more Olds....thank the other still running car manufacturers for putting them out of business or not offering to merge.

because it's too expensive for GM to have Buick, Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile...since underneath they're all essentially the same cars.

I read that GM decided to drop the brand because they felt it was hard to market a brand whose name began OLD.
