Praya, a siphonophore like the Apolemia , claims the record as the longest animal on Earth. Led by two swimming bells, its 130-foot body, slim as a fat pen, moves like a roller coaster through the water

or the blue whale

Most would probably say the blue whale, but I'd also speculate that there are probably some MEGA giant polycheate worms or nemertean worms out there that are buried deep in the ocean floor (similar to the Dune movie-books). I heard of a 60 ft polychaete being unearthed after an explosion at a harbor in San Pedro,CA, so no doubt there are others like that who are even bigger. There are some HUGE squid out there too that could be longer than a blue whale too. There are some HUGE earthworms in the Chiliean mtns too. I have heard that the fish tape worm Diphylobothrium latum (which is actualy a colony) has been recorded as long as 150 ft when taken out of a human! Yuk! I doubt we humans have tracked down all of the record breaking jumbo life forms on this planet yet.

A species of worm.

The longest worm known, Lineus longissimus, belongs to the phylum Nemertea. It is found under boulders at low tide along the North Sea and has been reported to exceed 150 feet in length.

There is a worm that lives in the blue whale's gut, that is the longest animal in the world, i'm very sceptical about non-parasitic worms freely existing in the open ocean tho. it'll take me a while to find the name of the parasite but when i remember or stumble accross it in my notes i'll let you know in another of your questions.
