I once was in a relationship with a guy that was adicted to crack cocaine, You have to get him some professional help. But he has to want to stop. You can only help a person that wants the help. I know that it is hard to watch someone you love throw their life away. You can only take so much. Give him the altermatum. The drugs are you. It's one thing for him to throw away his life if he wants but he has not right to bring you down with him. You deserve better than that. I know you love him. But once they smoke crack and get addicted crack is the only thing they love. And until he gets help and realizes that it will kill him if he don't stop the only thing you can do is love him be there for him and try to get him help. If he does not take it I would leave because it will only hurt you more to stay. Hope that everything works out for you.

I feel for you hun!! My mother is addicted to crack and there is really nothing you can do. He has to want to quit for himself and seek the treatment. If you push him into something he is not ready for you will only push him away and farther into his addiction. Pray, Pray, Pray that's all you can do. If you need to talk to someone who knows what your goin thru you can IM or email me anytime. Good Luck!! I'll say a prayer for your family.

my ex husband was addicted to crack also. i divorced his a** because i finally figured out that you can't help a sorry mf like that. i tried to do everything for him, counseling, rehab, hiding money, calling the cops. nothing worked for that sorry sob. know where he is now, in prison, and owes me about $50,000 in child support. leave his stupid crack smoking a** and get on with a better life.

becarefull... those people are in denial and will rationalize..
Proffesionaly help is the best... you just cannot remove the cracks and cocaine it will give him withdrawal symptoms that mybe more dangerous. Call some proffesional help and they are discrete about it and they will tell you what to do...

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for him unless he is ready to change. If he is ready, get him involved in going to NA (narcotics anonymous) meetings. If he is unwilling to change, I suggest getting out while you can. He will do nothing but spend every dime that comes into the house, spend diaper money on it, sell off things for it, and just make your future a living hell. I suggest running.... GOOD LUCK, you need it!

both my guy and i were addicted, what stoped me was looking in the mirror, what stoped him was me showing him pictures of him self not on crack and then having him look in the mirror. find what it is that makes him proude of him self and then show him that crack has changed that. he will only stop if he wants to.

get rid of that loser, or try to get him into rehab. but they usually just fall back off the wagon again anyway. i know my father, my aunt, and uncle all did. such losers. just ditch him and be done cause it's such a headache. soon he will be stealing from you. get out while you can. and i'm really not trying to be rude but it's the truth, i've seen it first hand. it's a vicious cycle.

A person cannot be helped, UNLESS he wants help. Beg and plead with him to get professional help. This stuff will eventually kill him, if he doesn't stop. Make him see that he has to accept help, he can't do it alone.

There is nothing at all that you can do to help. He has to do it. Unless you are strong enough to admit him to rehab or call the police.
