No, in fact, more men ought to be more honest about their woman's appearance and/or choice of dress. Lying to us about how we look just to get the monkey off your back is a no-no. She'll thank you in the long run. Bye the way, is it like a Columbine Massacre-Inspector Gadget-Perry Mason-type trench coat? What exactly don't you like about it? But I definitely don't think that you are trying to dictate how she should dress, you were just expressing your opinion and she will value it later on. You may have items in your wardrobe that she doesn't like as well. It's good that at least you pay enough attention to your woman to know what you like and dislike on her. Don't beat yourself up but if the coat is just that horrible, replace it with one that flatters her and that you would like to see her in.

Girls like to hear that we look nice no matter what. The only time you should make a negitive comment is if its life or death sort of thing-like "hey honey, this isn't the right part of town to where that particular bandanna in..." And even then, be nice. You have to tell us that we look good, no matter if you like the clothes or not. She obviously liked the coat, so it doesn't really matter if you really do or not.

Fashion is a bigger expression of oneself to girls than it is to guys, so while you probably meant that you didn't like the coat, she probably took it as a criticism of her style. Just tell her you think she's very stylish, and that you're just a guy and not that up on fashion, but the coat still isn't your favorite thing.

i understand one trench coat in specific it extremely is hiding the trembling excited bodies of three nekkid women. Wait! Whose tassles are those? And why is there a condom in her pocket?

no way. maybe if you made comments about every piece of clothing she wears, but it's just a coat. relax. if she gets really mad, that's her deal.
