It's worth ckecking out by a doctor. Ordinarily, a pregnant woman will have liquid leaking from the breasts as the milk production in anticipation of the baby begins. It is light yellow in color. If it is puss-like, it might very well be an infection. See a doctor. The scabs are really dead cells formed over a period of time, something which will be rid of with bathing the breasts with soap and water, then anointing with olive oil.

It sounds like you have an infection in your glands, but I'm no doctor. I'd go get checked out asap. Scabs and puss like substance doesn't sound healthy, especially at the end of your nipple. Now, if the puss stuff looks anything other than a milky white, I know I'd go. You will have some milk leaking out of you nipples on occasion during pregnancy, but that should be a white color and not puss like.

normal.. your hormones make your nipples darker, and you may even get a line from your belly button down to your pelvic. The discharge is also normal, called colostrum. Breasts are getting ready to make milk production. For some women, this helps earlier (doesn't mean you'll see white milk yet, don't worry). However, if it is really yellow like puss, then you may need to get checked. Colostrum is semi clear, somewhat cloudy, but not thick & yellow like puss.

Doesnt sound normal, if it looks like puss and its scabing over. If it was just wet clear to whitish liquid id just say your breast were leaking a bit of milk. Id go see your doctor and get him to check it out, you might have the start of an infection and that could get really sore. Congradulations on your prag! Take care!

I am 21 weeks and I have scabs on the tip of my nipple too, and 2 days ago I saw that clear liquid thing on my nipple, but not thick at all. I am thinking it's normal.

It sounds like your colostrum (premilk) came in . When my colostrum came in during my 1st pregnancy I got scabs on my nipples. The doctor told me it was from my husband being too aggressive w/ my nipples during our love making. Skin is very sensitive while pregnant. Check w/ doc.

if you're pregnant, that small amount of a thick yellowish substance called colostrum
perfectly normal. that's actually what the baby first drinks before you actually start producing milk and is full of proteins and antibodies for your baby because babies immune system is low during this time.
color can range...mine was white too, not yellow.

Call your doctor right away! This is not normal, but I am not an OB/GYN. I wish you lots of luck and hope that everything is well with you and your unborn child. Best wishes!

thats narmal but if yellowish or brownish comes out of it id say go to the doctors because if you plan on breast feeding it could be a bacteria thats inside your boobs which progresses your milk
