We should remember the origins, history and tradition of the uniforms worn with pride by militaries around the world.
For example, a long time ago, Britain and France were at war. During one battle, the French captured an English colonel. Taking him to their headquarters, the French general began to question him. Finally, as an afterthought, the French general asked, "Why do you English officers all wear red coats? Don't you know the red material makes you easier targets for us to shoot at?"
In his bland English way, the colonel informed the general that the reason English officers wear red coats are so that if they are shot, the blood won't show and the men they are leading won't panic. And that is why, from that day to this, all French Army officers wear brown pants.

February? Give the French a break. The USA still isn't ready for the war in Iraq.
Our soldiers are the best in the world. Unfortunately, with few exceptions, many of their leaders are not.
France helped us win our War of Independence, and for that alone I will never regard them as cowards. I have noticed that people who have never served are the greatest proponents of war.

If you bothered to look up any facts, you would know that there is no decision on when any troops are going in as of yet.
The French Army, like many European military forces, are deployed all over the world.
Looks as if they made the right decision with regards to Iraq, you reactionary piece of sh*t.

Just READ:
here is a translation of a french article:
Right now, France is in the current Finul , (...) we let us ensure of it today the command and we will continue to ensure this command. We are ready to make it until next February, including for the widened Finul .
UNTIL....
Who is the monkey?
Source:

Or it's a sign that the plan on rotating UN troops through the region, rather than sending all the troops there at once.
As long as the UN as a whole meets the commitment of 15,000 troops, does it really matter which countries go in now, and which countries rotate in six months from now?
For you, apparently it does matter. I just can't figure out why. But then, I don't understand blind hatred.

After the trouble they had in Algiers, I don't think they want to play French Foreign Legion again.
