No.

Some people think his actions are justified. They believe the ends justify the means, and that the ends (national security) are more important than the legal restrictions emplaced through our Constitution.

While I can't personally agree with them, or with the use of criminal means, their goals are to ensure the US is not attacked again. And that doesn't make them an enemy of the United States.

Bush, on the other hand, swore and an oath to support and defend the constitution and to see that the laws of this country are faithfully executed. Willful violation of that oath is treason under Article III of the Constitution, which does make him personally an enemy of the US.

And remember the oath is to defend the country against "all enemies, foreign and domestic".

I disagree. I can't stand Bush or his policies but to refer to people who approve of him as enemies of the US is as simple minded as supporting him in the first place.

Making the country better doesn't start by alienating those whose help you will need in the effort. If you have a point to make and you want to change people's minds, you won't be successful by referring to anyone who disagrees with you as an enemy.

IF, on the other hand you use the phrase "support Bush" in reference to those with money and power who have helped him make these bad decisions, those who should have and must have known better; than "enemies of the US" might apply.

in this country last time i read, though i think in this day and age that this whole thought would be out of date, we DO have the right to agree or disagree--regardless of what people like bill o'reilly or ann coulter says... they have rights to speak how they feel, as do the next person... we also have the right to not agree with it... theres a difference between not agreeing with someone and OUTRIGHT denying someone of their personal beliefs... or else everything this country (allegedly) was borne forth from and all of the people who died for liberty would have died in vain...if you have a belief system that you choose, choose it and stick with it, it wouldnt make you an enemy of anything if you choose to support Bush and his policies, just an enemy of the people who dont agree with you---i dont like a lot of things that are going on, and i think "there is something terribly wrong with this country", but i dont go around demanding that people like my view or else, thats the alleged "freedom of choice" that we all shouldve been taught that we have...and if people go walking around arbitrarily denying others rights, then we'll be no better than where "we" started from

Talk about spreading hate!!! I'm a friend of anyone who opposes persecution.

The U.S. is and will continue to be the greatest Nation in the world.

And another thing... I don't really care what means they use to ensure the safety of the people I care about. I don't care if my phone is tapped... I've got nothing to hide. If you have a problem with it maybe you'd better start running now.

People who crash airliners into skyscrapers killing thousands of unsuspecting innocent people and shattering families deserve no quarter.

I disagree. You're human and have an opinion.

You're just as bad as the conservatives who tell liberals to stop whining or that they're terrorist. You embarrass me as a liberal.
