How is the baseball card put on a bike to make the noise. I have tried for my son and it keeps falling off. I have no clue apparently.

Thanks for the help and laugh if you need to.

get a kit at a bike shop to mount a card to the fork as the forks on today's bikes are to fat for a regular clothespin. Maybe one of those big binder clips will work.

Playing cards might work better...they won't wear out as quick. Use a clothes-pin or tape to secure the card to the frame of the bike in a way that it passes through the spokes. Moving the card closer or further from the spokes will change the sound.

Take a clothespin and attach the clothespin to one of the supports running from the back wheel up to the seat.

When I was young we also would shove a crumpled paper bag in the gap between the top of the tire tread and the support coming up from the back wheel to the seat. If son is just learning to ride or really young then don't stuff it in too hard as the friction will slow the bike slightly.

We used to use wooden clothes pins to hold them on but today's wide frames may make it impossible. However, I have seen them at Toys-R-Us. They're plastic picture cards with a mounting bracket. They were in the bicycle accessory area.
And I'm not laughing. What kind of bike is it if it doesn't have a card flapping on the spokes.

On the rear wheel you either tape, or pin a baseball card or even a playing card onto the rear wheel and everytime you or your son moves the whell will flap the card making a sound,.

Stick with what you are doing, if you got it to work to any degree, but consider changing the angle or putting less of the card into the spokes. At best cards don't last very long. When your ready for next level try cut up can.

I used to place it between the front brake cable and the wheel arm. You only need to have about one-quarter inch of the card inside the spokes. Keep in mind that you can move the front brake cable to the position that best suits the placement of the card. If you have more questions, please e-mail me. I know how frustrating it can get.

My Dad used the wood clothes pins with the little metal spring that makes it clamp tight,,,,but todays way is at the lumber yard,,,my son got theses little blue plastic clamps with small yellow pads and all you do is squeeze the clamp with one hand,,,and those clamps are great for many uses in the house,,,they come in several sizes.
