I'm normally eccentric :)

problem is society has defined what is normal and if you don't live up to it you're considered eccentric - all of us our individuals. Most people I meet who meet the societal stereotype don't have the faintest clue who they are. If you took away the societal definition of normal, they would have no clue what to do!

There's no actual definition to normal. It is what one deems is to be. Not one of us is the same in thought, so that's a vast majority to evaluate. Eccentric is another issue. Oddity in behavior is a weird fact, but there are many oddities in human behavior. I'd say in the percentile range, you couldn't even guesstimate.........

Normal. Someone who does not bring attention to themselves.

Eccentric. Someone who draws attention to themselves for not being normal.

BTW...I think it takes all types of people to make this world an interesting place. Neither is better than the other.
