Hey! I got a problem with my computer, the thing is that one day I turned it off and turned it back on in 1 second, and gave me the screen where asks you to boot the system as safe mode, and many options, including start windows normally, after I make my choice, it will try to load the OS but when I see the Windows login screen, it restarts and then does the same thing, I tried to reset bios (removing the battery) tried with a boot disk, I put another hard drive on my computer, and nothing will load, I can see bios, I can make changes but even If I have a blank hard drive it'll give me the options to restart windows... I have no idea what to do I hope you do! Thanks in advance... and take it to a repair store is out of the question.

You have a major module problem. I would suspect memory first. Try changing the physical locations of your memories. You can do this if you have more than one stick of memory in your system. If you do not have more than a single stick of RAM then your are looking are needing to get another one. A small stick on the right speed and configuration for your system will do. You are looking for debug not performance. If you don't want to buy throw away memory. Look for a new motherboard. If you have a system from a big manufacturer then you may be out of luck on switching motherboards. If this works, you have a bad memory and need more. Buy memory in matched pairs of sticks.

If you put in another harddrive with another OS on it and it also fails to boot then there is nothing about your OS installation that is wrong. You can try and boot from a CD copy of your OS or from the recovery CD's that came with your system. This may get further, I think not.

Without knowing more about your system I really can't help you debug farther than this.

I would, put your original HD back in. At the first screen go into safe mode. (On most computers Safe Mode is accessed by tapping the F8 key repetedly) Then choose "Last Known Good Configuration".
