Why do Aliens never abduct normal people?

Why is it always someone out in a remote part of the Earth? What the hell is wrong with people in big cities like NYC or London? We're not good enough? Is that it?

Oh, and then an abductee has always been "probed in some orafix". It's the grossest story and always without real evidence. "They wuz nice and all. They don't mean nobody no harm. I could hear them tawkin' kinda funny like. They stuck me with a poker 'bout ten feet long I recon. Then they dropped me down here like it was bizness as usual."

Shucks! Them'all aliens got's more common sense than to deal with any you'all city folks, you city folks ain't got a lick o'sense and liable ta get run over by a taxi cab starin' at the sky, some alien come flyin' o'er you'all's place.

You'all mighty unfrenly, too. Any alien with a bean in his haid know better than ta touch a city folk with a ten foot probe. They come roun' the country and find folks a whole lot more hospitable, layin' out the welcome mat and all. An' a lot more practical, as well. How many you'all city folks can tie a knot in baling wire with yo' teeth to fix an ailin' alien space vehickal, you'all city folks got a call a repairman to flush your toilet for ya' yuo'all so helpless.

An excellent point. Instead of making off with scientists or world leaders these bargain basement aliens that are supposed to be terrorizing Earth seem to be only interested in abducting guys named Bubba from the local trailer park with half empty bottles of old thumbsucker in their hip pocket. I accept that the aliens are probably afraid of the average New Yorker and Londoners might be getting abducted all the time but are too polite to mention it but you'd still think that flying saucers should be buzzing the White House or doing drive-bys on the Pentagon instead of spending all their time doing high altitude surveys of East Shinola Arkansas or Port Boofoo Iowa. Let's see Gorzorninplatz from the planet Plutark appear on the idiot box some evening with Letterman or Leno and maybe,,,special effects not withstanding, someone other than the "Bigfoot Stole My Baby" crowd will take UFOs and Alien abductions seriously. Till that day, which, unless your parents were related you already know isn't going to come, beam me up Scotty!

I believe this is an incorrect assumption. Many abductees are from urban locations; there have been hundreds.

Aliens have already taken over big cities, anyhow, therefore they do not need to abduct anyone. They've made their home there. Ever met a downtown taxi driver? Sub-human!

Ha ha ha! Having lived in the midwest my whole life, I know exactly what you mean, only I am coming at it from a slightly different angle... why do aliens always abduct uneducated people with few teeth? I wish I KNEW!

They do abduct normal people! but they never tell anyone would you admit to having had something poked up your nether region in the cold expanse of space??.

Maybe they have common sense. Do you think a spacecraft might be noticed over a large metro area? Do you think it would be less likely to be noticed over a remote area?

Cuz they dont opt to get there *** kicked, and be shown they exist. even as they abduct pink necks they recognize no one will beleive them, so that they seize there *** and do issues to them

The normal people do not believe is such silly thing as aliens invading our planet.
