Mysterious Hippo...?

How come toy hippos are always blue, or purple, when real hippos are brown?

Because blue and purple are more appealing to small children.

Don't know. They take alot of liberties when it comes to making kids toys. Like toy frogs look alot cuter than regular frogs.
