Hey...I TOTALLY agree. I have gotten stupid advice like "give the kid ridalin" in reply to asking how to keep the kid I'm babysitting happy and content!! If that is what the world is coming to then I am ashamed to live in it. What I did was report abuse. It is the picture of the red flag under the persons STUPID answer. I recommend you do it too because it gets the point across to the writer!

People sometimes use answers to exercise their sense of humour, but it usually depends on the tone of the question. If you ask a serious question, most people will try to give a sensible answer. Just ignore the ones you don't like.

I think you're letting it bother you far too much.
If you want empathy and friendship, an online international community full of (mostly) strangers really isn't the place for you.
Like everywhere else in life, this "community" has it's fun people, and it's morons. Ignore the people you don't like, enjoy the people you do.
If you can't handle it without moaning, you're going to be in for a rough ride.

By replying to these people you are making them feel important. I guess there are some sad people that rub their hands together every time they gain a point... to some thats what this is all about... best just ignore them and let them have their 2 little points it could be the only excitement they get all day, would you really begrudge someone that..lol
Oh erm... and thank you... er for the 2 points I mean...lol... (sorry couldnt resist)... :)

I was always taught to ignore people displaying their ignorance and stupidity. It deprives them of an audience and limits their enjoyment of their little games. Now, I don't always pull it off, as it can be fun to take them down a peg...

There are two things you can do (now). One, click the rate button with the thumbs down. Two, if they are breaking Guidelines, report them.
