The Confederate Flag should not be folded in a Triangle as the US Flag but rather a Square Fold. Also the playing of Taps is also incorrect; Taps was written by a Yankee and meant to replace Scott Tattoo which the CSA continued to use.

I see most of the people who are answering this question have NO idea what the Confederate Flag really means to us. Don't pay attention to them!
As far as how to fold it - I'm sorry but I have no idea. I'm sure you could google it and find some instructions, though. I'm assuming you would fold it the same way as the American Flag, though. Instructions for that might be easier to find.

Let me ask this question, if an ignorant racist organization adopted our current American flag, would you want it removed from state capitals or banished from society, just because of that organization?
That was done to the Confederate flag. The confederate flag was never intended to be a symbol of racism and its creators never intended it to be.
Society, as a whole, takes what they hear and see at face value. It is important to look behind what is in front.
Besides the majority of blacks just need something to gripe about. Lazy ducks as a whole with a very few exceptions, if any. LOL...

It should also be known, that Gen. Lee was AGAINST SLAVERY and the WAR!! He knew all along it would be a losing battle. The Confederate flag no matter what, stands for a people that are proud of their heritage. Its nothing more than a peice of cloth. Why not destroy everything that represents something that was, is or will be bad or offensive? We'd all be naked and living in grass or mud huts if we did.

Freedom from slavery was proper and fair. However slaves should have reinbruse their owner for the cash invested Which Was their labor. My Great Grand Fathers and at least one of his slaves fought valiantly under this flag as has the American now fought under the United States flag. The Civil War was fought over unfair trarifs [taxes] placed on the Southern States. I am proud of that flag. That flag is does not represent hate-try but that man has the right to stand up to unfair taxation.

I could have predicted you'd get an answer like the first one. As for your question, why not the same way a U.S. flag is folded? Wouldn't that work?

Disregard butthole first of all, The CSA had nothing to do with fascism. The war between the states wasn't about freeing slaves. It was about money and trade just like every war.The good side effect was that it did abolish slavery. Now to the question: just like the US flag so it ends up a right triangle.

I would figure, just like any other flag. I would get rid of it though. It didn't win. It hasn't garnered my respect, if you do respect it, fold it. It is symetrical in 4 directions correct. I figure, fold it in half longways, then into a 4th longways. Then do like the American Flag, fold it into triangles.
