Soak your burner racks in a sink full of original pine sol add a bit of hot water, the racks will be super clean!!! make sure you drench the racks in the pinesol real good..about 1/2 hour then wash them down and place them on the stove top.
It is great for oven cleaning as well. just soak it, no water, then wipe away clean. let it sit for about 30 minuets and everything will wipe away clean!

I found a great trick from Heloise that works terrific! You take the racks, broiler, inside racks and spray them really good with oven cleaner, then put them in a plastic garbage bag and seal them up. Leave them for about 5-6 hours. They should clean up really easy. If need be (which I do), you take either a small wire brush (easy to come by) or brillo pad, and voila! CLEAN!

Take them off the stove and place in the sink. Spray them with Easy-Off oven cleaner ( not the fume free) ...note Easy Off can cause skin irritation so you may want to wear gloves. Let them sit for an hour or two. Then put them in the dishwasher and run through a normal cycle with your usual dishwasher soap.
They should come out looking like new. Then. weekly, spray them down with Easy-Off and put in dishwasher with other dirty dishes.
This also works for stainless steel and porcelain drip pans. I have used this method for 25 years and my drip pans always look like new. Do not do this with aluminum pans!

I am a caretaker for an apt complex and the ultimate is a heavy duty oven cleaner. I know it sounds pretty basic, but it's the best! Just make sure that your skin is protected because it can be pretty potent.

Take them off and spray with oven cleaner. Place in a plastic bag and let sit. You should be able to wipe them off or even rinse them off in about an hour.
