I totally agree john cena is an excellent wrestler and a pretty much a fan favorite he fights for respect not for gold.

Depends by what you mean as "The best wrestler"?
As entertainers, I beleive Hulk Hogan will remain the top for good number of years yet. John Cena is okay... but I dont think he has the same 'identity' to compare him to Hogan.
If we refer to "The best Wrestler" in todays Pro Wrestling...
I'd pick Dean Malenko before Hogan and Cena put together.

No, let me say, Hulk Hogan is also not the best wrestler, he never was. OMG, remember that famous leg drop that he put on Andre the Giant back in Wrestlemania 1? That was so fake.. I mean dude, John Cena is a copy of Hulk Hogan, trust me, no neither of them are doing any good in the WWE.. Accept for ratings and selling merchandise.

John Cena isn't a wrestler!!! He's just a white trash wannabe homeboy who can only do 2 moves, sidewalk slam and a basic suplex. He's boring,never EVER near being talented enough to deserve being a champ. Every match of his is the same and goes like this: He comes out to his lame music,throws a few punches then his opponent gets the better of him for about 15mins then out of no where he does and FU and then after a while he started doing the STFU to fool people into thinking he was more talented than he was by doing a submission....and he wins.pure wrestling fans who want to see proper wrestling can't stand him because it's like the chant says "YOU CAN'T WRESTLE" The ecw fans got it right when they gave him hell at one night stand.He sucks.......and as for hogan,he's killing his own legend,doesn't need randy Orton,just retire gracefully hulk and stop coming back!! ANYONE WHO CHEERS CENA ISN'T REALLY A PURE WRESTLING FAN

I agree with you, but HOGAN still wrestles, so John is like 2 best, Hulk Hogan is number 1.

Kurt Angle is currently the best wrestler in all three brands
and Cena would be the best wrestler since The Rock not Hogan

John Cena is to the WWE what Lebron James is to NBA. He iks the next Hogan as he definitely carries WWE on his back right now! Lebron is the next Jordan, Cena is the next Hogan.

Wow. Either the fans on this site are all under 12, or the intelligence level of WWE fans is decreasing drastically. WAKE UP Idiots! They both stink as wrestlers, but they're both good at being good guys. Try putting them into a "Bad guy" role and see what you get. TOTAL CRAP! Now, think of the guys who can play a bad guy well. You really are a little slow, aren't you. 95% of WWe an indy talent are better in-ring competitors than Cena or Hogan - FACT. They get the fans behind them because people are sheep, and they love a winner.
In fact, Cena could't even get the fans behind him. What a useless turd.
