There are only nine planets in our solar system. Beyond Pluto is only a ring of ice asteroids, if anything. But The discovery of pluto was allegedly the explination for why so many fortellings were slightly of-base in that they needed to know the alignment of all astral bodies within our solar system to be completely accurate.

Just things that have been in our solar system planets doesn't change anything. It has been affecting us before they called it a planet and it will keep affecting us if we notice it or not. What is in the solar system has not changed that much but our knowledge of it has. I don't think astrology will be updated because it serves its purpose but if it does, I think, it will just be more specific.

With the new classifications, round rocks can be called planets (well, almost). But these relatively tiny objects exert no effect here. Far too small. Whether or not the effects of Pluto are from a single planet or a pair of planets doesn't really matter, does it? The effects are the same. Good luck

I also asked this a few hours ago (hey, you've a got a good question!), and have gotten a few good answers... one person said that it wouldn't affect the zodiac, while another said that the new planets may be assigned to a couple sun signs. As of right now, there's no majority in the answers I've recieved, hope you get better results!

Nothing. The same stuff is out there, we just call it something different like a planet.
