If you mean to those videos like MoviePreviews, VideoNews, etc.
Try to "Change Settings" at the buttom of your video window.
There change the "Conection Speed" to a "Low Broadband" if you have a broadband connection (DSL) or select the DialUp option. Then verify the status of your "Players" and select the one with an "OK" as status.

If you are still having some problmes, then update your WindowsMediaPlayer to the version 10 and Change Settings again to WindowsMedia.
