I am majoring in finance and I thought that I wanted to be a financial advisor but the more I research the field the more it focuses on sales a lot. I am not a sales kinda guy so what other careers could I research that aren't so sales oriented. Help please.

Are you allowed to take any electives within your finance major? If so, why not try taking a couple of "practical" courses - courses that focus more on practical skills than theory - such as a basic accounting course or tax course, etc. If you enjoy one of these courses, then that might be the direction to head into.

A finance degree is more aligned with accounting. If you dont want sales, either go with accounting or change majors.
