To quote Reagan, " There ya go again", painting everything with a broad brush of spin rhetoric and throwing labels about. Is not asking for the truth reasonable?

Our government was designed to be as transparent as possible. Yet Bush makes EVERYTHING a secret. That in and of itself is cause for alarm considering history.
He has done his best to divide the American people rather than unite us to his causes. Divide and conquer is a time tested tactic. Just look at Iraq on the verge of becoming 3 separate nations.
"You are either with us or against us." or his statement of "unity" after the 2004 election. " We would like to welcome all of those who think like us." The great divider is his legacy.
I don't know about whether or not 9/11 was an American conspiracy but there is enough evidence of cover up to demand answers from truly independent sources.

How totally ignorant do you have to be to deny the facts just because your team is winning?

First, liberals as a group aren't conspiracy theorists. Those a just a few radicals and there have always been such.

But yes, most liberals are pointing out that Bush is (very effectively) using fear tactics for political advantage. Conservatives also point this out, by the way, they just give Bush credit for being effective at it rather than denouncing it.

As far as those who are opposed to current government policies, it's not fear-mongering to point out that our president has been acknowledged by the Supreme Court has having committed actions that our own laws define as war crimes (18 USC 2441). That's just fact. And Bush is proud to admit it.

The difference is, some people have a problem with having an elected official who is proud to admit having committed hundreds of unauthorized felonies in the course of his job.

Actually, it's true. In 2004, Karl and Cheney said that if Kerry won we would have more terrorist attacks. Recently, Cheney said that Lamont (the guy who beat Leiberman in the CT primary) was an al quaida candidate and that it would benefit the terrorist.

They kept the terror alert raised higher than it should have been during the 2004 campaign season.

When you are constantly saying your political opponent benefits the enemy people are afraid to vote for them. I had a discussion with a friend in '04 about this very thing and she kept telling me that I should vote for Bush because he was going to keep the terrorist away and I just looked at her like she.....special.

Perhaps it was the friends or enemies of David Icke. There are so many conspiracy stories it doesn't seem to matter anymore. Just one day and one paycheck at a time. I'm just going to watch the sitcoms instead of the news reruns and Internet tabloids. Hows the weather tomorrow? Whatever it is is.

If you begin to recognize us as individuals, you won't be so confused. I don't believe Bush planned WTC, but I don't believe he did everything to stop it, either. Ans as far as the fear thing goes, when you tell someone that they will be attacked by terrorists if they vote for the wrong party...that is a fear tactic. That has been their platform. That will be their platform again.. Watch

The fact is that Bush has used scare tactics on the American public. While you or I might not listen to his rhetoric a lot of people do. Telling the American public that if we don't fight in Iraq and don't continue the "global war on terror", what ever that is, that we will be attacked again, is fear mongering.
This current administration is inept and it will be great to be rid of them.

HISTORICALLY,FEAR HAS ALLWAYS BEEN USED AS A POLITICAL STRATEGY.PEOPLE LIKE TO FEEL SECURE....THAT'S THE MAIN REASON THEY ELECT A GOVERNMENT AND ANY STRATEGY THAT BETTER ASSURES THE ABILITY TO SECURE A NATION WILL WIN ANYTIME......WETHER OR NOT WHAT'S BEING SOLD IS A MYTH.

CONSIDER THE CURRENT REALITIES THAT AMERICANS FACE: TURMOIL IN IRAQ COSTING AMERICAN LIVES AND MONEY,HIGH AND HIGHER OIL PRICES ,POSSIBLE OUTBREAK OF ALLOUT WAR BETWEEN NATIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST ,NUCLEAR UNEASE ALONG THE KOREAN PENNINSULA AND IN IRAN.ALL OF THESE HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON....THEY ARE ALL OVERSEAS ISSUES NOT DIRECTLY THREATENING OUR BORDERS OR FOR THAT MATTER OUR IMMEDIATE NATIONAL SECURITY.YET EVERY FOCUS WILL BE PLACED ON THESE ISSUES AS SUCH IN THE COMING ELECTIONS.JUST WATCH.WELL AS FOR IRAQ....WHAT CAN I SAY THAT YOU DON'T ALLREADY KNOW.ONE OF PRESIDENT BUSH "AXIS OF EVIL"....THE ONLY ONE WE HAVE ATTACKED TO DATE AND THE ONE WE SHOULD USE AS PROOF THAT DIPLOMATIC PRESSURE IS A BETTER CHOICE TO WAR.AS TO WHAT WE WE DO IN IRAQ GOING FORWARD....WE DON'T HAVE TO STAY THE COURSE (THE CURRENT COURSE IS AN EGO TRIP THAT HAS FAILED).WE SHOULD GET THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY INVOLVED THROUGH THE DIPLOMATIC CHANNELS AND GET THE IRAQI'S TO GOVERN THEMSELVES.

Everybody explains things in their own way. Se, you're blaming liberals of scaring the public, now. Perhaps there is an outside force called radical Islam that is scaring people.....
