Try highlighting the e-mail address, then right click and select copy.
Next, sign in to your mail account and choose to "Compose". Now you can right click and paste the e-mail address into the send box.
Now fill in the subject and message and you're done.
Unless you are clicking on a person's user name, like on Yahoo! Answers, and you do not have their e-mail address. If this is the case then you will have to complain to the website.

i believe that your using a yahoo account, and although it signs you into yahoo and brings a compose new e-mail screen up, it doenst enter the destination e-mail address.
this also happens to me, i dont believe it has the functionality for this, simply highlight the e-mail address and copy/paste it into the correct line

not sure what u mean ,when u click it usually opens up your outlook express and default email if it doesnst it may be not set up correctly
