If you are distracted by it and your performance is suffering, why not try limiting your stimuli? Also a healthy diet and regular ex-er-size are great focus-enhacers. Bananas are the reason monkeys(apes, whatever) became the sentient beings known as humans.

i often wonder the same thing.....for me when i see it down on the bar i am just tempted to open it and see whats going on so i guess it is a little distracting.
