I have been to 49 states-- all but Alaska. (Also, 12 countries in Europe, most Canadian provinces, Mexico and the Bahamas.)

I have been to 12 states. One of them is in Canada. They are Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Florida, Indiana, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The Canadian provence I visited was Ontario.
