You shouldn't be so surprised. The rethugs have long history of campaigning against war heroes. John Kerry and Max Cleland are two that come to mind.

So what... Her uniform is off now. If she has opposing views then the fact that she is a war veteran doens't matter other than to show her dedication to her country. did Laura Bush question her integrity as a soldier or patriot? No she just agrees with the views of the other guy

Say that war veteran was a child molester. Does that make it okay because he was a veteran. I support our troops, and our veterans, but just because they are veterans gives them no immunity to criticism. Mrs. Bush has every right to campaign against this guy, why on earth would she campaign for a democrat. I am sorry if you cannot see why this all makes sense, it may have something to do with your lie (news) source.

Yeah, heavan forbid someone run against some-one on their issues and not just the perception of who that person is based on their public immage.
Her running against the vet based on his issues has nothing to do with her stance on military support.
You would think you folks could understand this since you are constantly claiming that you can support the troops, but not the war.

She's showing her support for a candidate whos views are in line with hers. OH THE HORROR!!! You act like she's smearing the guy or physically attacking him. If you are a veteran, are you automatically entitled to office? Should the men that ran against Eisenhower, Truman, Kennedy, etc. be attacked becasue they ran against these men. You're a moron.

Are you just figuring this out now?! - I mean who else but a hard hearted bi tch with an ambitious agenda would actually let that drunken coke head anywhere near her nethers.
Oh I'm sorry my personal feelings for a person I don't know have oozed out into public -
Her first boyfriend wasn't ambitious enough so she ran him off the road and out of existance.

Believe me I support the troops, but just because you served in a war doesn't make you the best candidate for office anymore than pouring cereal in a bowl makes you a chef.
Everyone's entitled to an opinion, that's one of mine.

Who cares about Laura Bush, KooKoo?
She's done absolutely NOTHING while her coke-snorting, Jack Daniels-drinking husband has been in office.
She loves the troops....but only if they believe in her God, her husband's policies and have two fully working legs!

So in your version of America, people aren't allowed to back the candidate of their choice? Do you know ANYTHING about the politics of either Peter Roskam or Tammy Duckworth?

You got it.
If Reps/Cons love the troops so much, why do some of them support a war going so badly?!
