21.. and like i feel old even though in reality its still considered young u know? But like yeah i feel old.. I feel as though i need to accomplsh more!.

I was a late bloomer and finally matured at age 28. It wasn't that responsibilities hit me (I already had those), but that I fully realized what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Write poetry. I also met the man I was to marry a year later, another poet (though we didn't marry until age 31). We're still married.
However, I worked at various jobs since age 15 and had my own apartment at 22 -- but just felt like a kid.
Native Americans say you don't become a full adult until age 52. I'm 53 and my childhood finally seems like a long time ago.
