i have a four cam engine, i just want to know the difference

Rdsox, i do have a Four Cam engine, it is written right on the top of the engine, "V6 3000 FOUR CAM 24", is twin cam faster?

You have two camshafts per cylinder bank, this is more complex but potentially more efficient.

the difference is 2 cams. 4 cam more things to go wrong

Split port refers to the fuel injection system. If you've got dual cams and it's not a Zetec, then it has to be the Duratec 2.3

Sorry to say, but there's no such thing as "Four-cam." Engines, have either one "camshaft" (OHC) or two camshafts (twin cam)-DOHC. Now you can have two, three, or four valves per cylindes. From those, the four valves per cylinder allows more air to go in and more and air out the exhaust.
What you have is most likely a "twin cam" with four valves, two intakes and two exhaust valves, that's very efficient. A very typical set up to maximize efficiency.
